Magalie Yacinthe

Greetings! I am delighted that you have taken the time to visit the BADST website. I would like to welcome you on behalf of the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We were chartered on Florida A&M University on January 30, 1937, and we have had the esteemed honor of continuing the devastating legacy of our illustrious Sorority for over 70 years. We have always strived to maintain the principles of our dynamic sorority while maintaining the legacy and vision of our twenty-two founders. As you visit our website you will see our passion to serve others through our national Five Point Programmatic Thrusts: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. The Beta Alpha chapter is devoted to uplifting the students of the University and the city of Tallahassee, thus we have implemented many new, innovative projects and programs for the betterment of our community. We strive to uphold the sorority’s values of Scholarship, Service, and Sisterhood throughout our campus, and we exude characteristics that are nothing less than that of a true Delta woman. As you venture through our website, I hope that you enjoy yourself and realize that we are truly the BADST!

Sincerely,

Magalie Yacinthe
