Scholarship Information
Since our inception in 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has strived to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Strongly believing that “To whom much is given, much is required”, the Lovely Ladies of the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. introduce our Spring 2007 Book Scholarship. This award is given annually in remembrance of Myra Cook, Emissaries of the Renaissance Spring 1982.
The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize five (5) outstanding students at Florida A&M University. The award is a book scholarship valued at $200.
The scholarships will be awarded on Sunday, January 21, 2007. The requirements are as follows:
• Student must be a Full Time Student at FAMU in the Sring of 2007
• Student must complete application by the deadline date: Friday, January 19, 2006
• Student must show commitment to Community Involvement
• Students must complete a 250-500 word essay
