Jessica R. Thornton

Although you can always catch Jessica R. Thornton proudly wearing our sorority’s letters across campus, it is her balance of campus involvement and academia that truly makes her an amazing Delta Woman. This Lithonia, Georgia native has served her campus in various settings being a member of the Marching 100 and the Atlanta Club. She is a former Relay For Life Team Captain and was the first to successfully fulfill the duty of making the Marching 100 an official Relay For Life team. With such a commitment and devotion to the organizations in which she is a part of, it is remarkable that this 1st year Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate remains a top student in the pharmacy program. Soror Thornton just completed her third football season as a member of the Marching 100 and currently serves as the Co-Chair of our chapter's Fundraising Committee. Soror Thornton lives by the scripture "Trust in the Lord with all they heart, and lean not on thy own's understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). She reminds us that you will never know what you're capable of if you never try. Soror Thornton truly exemplifies what it means to be a Delta Woman.
